Ibn Maajah (242) narrated that Abu Hurayrah said: “The good deeds that will reach a believer after his death are: knowledge which he learned and then spread; a righteous son whom he leaves behind; a copy of the Qur’aan that he leaves as a legacy; a mosque that he built; a house that he built for wayfarers; a canal that he dug; or charity that he gave during his lifetime when he was in good health. These deeds will reach him after his death.”

"In fact, the mosques of Allah are built up only by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day and those who establish prayer and pay zakah and who fear none but Allah. So, it is in all likelihood that they are to be among those on the right path." (Al-Qur'an 9:17-18)

The Islamic Community of Salinas (ICoS) is a community-based, independent non-profit organization funded by contributions from members of our community. The masjid relies on the generosity of donors like you to operate on a daily basis.

There are several ways to support the masjid:

-Make a secure online donation to ICoS via the PayPal to your left.  You can give any amount as a one time payment or recurring monthly payments.  If you use the one time payment or PayPal Giving link, there are no transaction fees and the masjid gets 100% of what you donate and you will automatically get a tax receipt.  For recurring payments, please use the regular PayPal link (we get a discounted rate for transactions).

-We can take ACH payments (have your bank account automatically debited every month for your donation).  To do this, please text/e-mail us your full name/e-mail address/phone number and amount you wish to donate monthly.
